I was recently browsing some tech sites when I found a tech gadget that I personally would like to have and thought about sharing it with you – it’s the Anna Chapman Spy Sunglasses. This spy sunglass looks very stylish and it can help you to fulfill some of your spying fantasies through its High Definition video recording capability.
The spy sunglass is equipped with 4GB of memory which allows you to record 720p at 30fps for up to 1 hour. The most impressive thing about this spy sunglass is that its lens is hidden obscurely in the bridge, allowing you record your undercover assignments while looking cool. It is even equipped with a microphone that allows you to record conversations while files can be transferred via its USB port.
Although I really don’t plan on using this spy sunglass for covert operations, I plan on using it when going out and having fun with friends, say on the beach. Instead of bringing a bulky handheld video camera, why not wear shades and allow it to do the recording for you. You basically record where you look. I know it does not have a zoom capability that allows you to focus on shots, but since it beats having to bring a videocam along each time, then it’s good enough for me. It’s just too bad though that it can only record an hour worth of video.

I gotta get me one of these. It not just looks cool, but you also have video evidence of your friends goofing around, one’s that are good enough for a laugh each time you watch them.

Ouch! don’t you think it is little bit expensive, there are many spy cameras like the one in a pen and in a shoe but they are not much expensive as this one. I think she (Anna Chapman) is also charging for making the glasses cool

Well, I guess it is quite expensive than the ones in the pen and shoe, but maybe it’s because that you can wear it like any other normal sunglasses without others being aware that you are recording their every move.

The spy sunglasses looks cool indeed. I was thinking that it is only usable during day because we cannot wear it at night. But I think we can also use it by hanging it in the neck of our shirt. Is there any red button that lights when you turn on the recording? If so, it might spoil your spying plans.

That’s a good question. Good news, unlike other recording devices which give away their red light while on use, this spy sunglasses do not display that red light, so your recording will definitely not be discovered – well, unless you tell them.

Its a cool idea but I got to admit I don’t find them to cool regarding design. The camera looks a little to obvious. I want Neo type glasses with lasers and stuff lol

I guess we can’t all be pleased with just one style, right? I agree, they should make other designs as well. As for the lasers, don’t you think that’s quite extreme? But I guess it’s okay as long as it is intended for gaming purposes only and no one gets truly hurt, LOL!

But of course, intelligence personnel will use more high-tech gadgets when it comes to covert operations. This, however, can also do the trick, especially if they only need a few minutes’ worth of covert video coverage. I guess the best thing about it is that it can be available for average persons who are interested in owning one.

I think its a cool gadget for fun. For security or undercover stuffs, its kind of not a good one to choose. As like what the other people in here says, most operatives do have more high tech and well concealed cams with them.

That looks great for a video cam! You’d really feel like a spy carrying one of those.
Another thing is that no one would notice it, unless someone gets up to you real close.
With all the television shows that feature spies, undercover agents, etc, it’s fun that they have decided to make some of the high tech gadgets seen only in shows before brought to us in real life.
I think that this one is a bit expensive. I think it’s really cool but I just don’t like shades at all. That’s maybe because of my face proportion. I’m a typical Filipino who have the same features with all any other Asian beauties. Need not to elaborate things for I knew that you already do understand my point.:)
